Hospice provides a robust team that provides extraordinary care from a multidisciplinary unit. This care is a special kind of care that focuses on the quality of life for people and their caregivers who are experiencing an advanced, life-limiting illness. The Hospice Team interacts with the patient, patient family and resource providers of the patient. During the patients time with hospice each patient will be able to participate in their care and be provided with a team member to explain end of life goals and issues. Hospice care provides compassionate care for people in the last phase of incurable disease so that they may live as fully and comfortably as possible.
